Being a bit more serious, I did put on the best part of a stone. I'm now down a stone and a half from the start so I'm feeling happy with myself for that. You can lose the weight again and there's nothing wrong with putting it on with everything going on. x

I’ve put on a stone and a half in the last year , not blaming it all on COVID , I hadn’t recovered from Christmas by the time the 1st lockdown started . This said my brother went into lockdown with me and he had put on a stone by the time he went home in July , he’s definitely blaming it on me

I put on half a stone since 1st lockdown. I haven't been to the gym since March and have switched to cycling. Cutting out snacking between meals because I'm working from home I managed to shed 6lbs in the last 3 weeks..my spare tyre is just a spacesaver now..

So three months post-surgery ban, plus 2wks self isolation before, plus a month of lockdown (no specialist equipment/wheelchair sports) equals a fuck ton of no exercise

Weight tends to fluctuate anyway so unless it’s dramatic or making you feel shit I wouldn’t think about it too much

I know I gained a bit during the summer and have upped my daily steps now. Having kept a lot of weight off since my teens I’m fairly good at regulating it, but I’m not going to worry and deprive myself of treats at the moment. I’ll cut back and lose it when I feel like it

Yes! And that makes me so sad because I joined the gym this year and had all these good intentions and it’s just totally gone tits up. Obv it’s not just the pandemic...I clearly have no self restraint, but it’s disappointing.

I can’t wait for the gym to open back up on Wednesday!
