There are more genuine than fake I think. We are exactly who we say we are. That doesnt mean we meet just anyone. And even if we fancy someone initially from photos etc. After talking to them.( yes we expect to chat for a while) that can change easily if we dont click. Or if they expect an instant meet.

That doesnt make us fake or non genuine. This is the case for many singles and couples.

And how do you define wasting people's time? It has a fairly broad definition round here.

The only time I would consider my time to have been wasted here would be if I'd arranged to meet someone and they didn't turn up - anything else isn't time wasting to my mind, but that's my definition

In my experience the majority on here are genuine.

The fakes tend to give up quite quickly, especially since we're in the middle of a pandemic and (hopefully) most people aren't meeting.

I suspect this means that lots are also less keen to get to know new people at the moment.

Things will pick up when things get back to normal at some point next year.

you are better off keeping fab for friends and people you have met, you have no photo that does not help. youll haveto get to some socials and get known.thats the best way forward in this community that and not whinging on the forums...just saying.. and if you are a real Dom then there are other sites for that.IF you were a real Dominant you would know that...see where i am going with this...name, no pics, attitude...id change some of those, if i were you xx

I don't expect anyone to meet me the same day. Yes I do ask if people are looking to meet but if they say no thats fine. And I get not everyone's attracted to everyone else. I'd just appreciate people saying they are not interested rather than talking for a bit then just ghosting people

It's clearly stated by fab that people should take a non response from somone as a no thankyou, no one owes you a message, that does not make them 'fake'. People get a lot of messages on here, I have over 1000 unopened messages in my inbox at the minute and I'd class going through every single one (during a pandemic) to reply sorry no thankyou as a waist of my time mostly I scroll trough and look for people I already know... It happens, all ways round, conversations fizzle, people lose interest, or something is said that doesn't sit right, or one person is more invested than the other, or thinks the other is invested - whatever the reasons conversations die out - but it's not ghosting unless you've actually met the person or have a long standing "chat" relationship with that person and they'd agreed to meet (and even then it's a tenuous "ghosting).

It's certainly not time wasting when it happens - you've found out they weren't for you (by them ending further communication) so your time wasn't wasted

You may reply "no worries" but there are lots on here that will send abuse or try to change people's minds etc and the recipient has no way of knowing which type you are - so to avoid the abuse etc it's easier to just leave it at that

But if you had been chatting ok then just suddenly received a sorry not interested that would feel even weirder and have you questioning more. I just accept conversations can be more fluid. I can leave mid convo for any number of reasons doesnt mean I wasnt interested or enjoying the chat. Not every chat will go somewhere and some just pick up again weeks later. Fab is a long game
