The Yom Kippur war saw them attacked simultaneously by various other countries on a holy day (Yom Kippur) - they didn't use their nuclear advantage. I cannot say I am convinced that had Iran been a nuclear power since the 60's we would have had the same result. As I said, Israeli policy stinks, they are in a difficult situation but it is one they've repeatedly made worse for themselves. Given the state of apartheid that exists there they get no sympathy from me but they have - so far - proved themselves to be reliable custodians of nuclear power. Mr | |||
