"I saw Alan Carr live once a few years back and I have to say I was crying with laughter. I don’t really do jokes, I prefer being regaled with funny things that have happened to folk. " I saw him live in a pub years ago, before he was properly famous. I think he'd done 8 out of 10 cats a couple of times, but that was about all. He was hilarious I think Channel 4 has ruined his comedy, it comes across as just too scripted and forced

"Laurel and Hardy They’re funnier than the majority of the shite around today. " Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia is absolutely brilliant, especially the bit when Oliver tests the mallet on the bar before hitting Stan and then Stan's high pitch change in his signing!

"..who's your favourite stand-up comedians, Mike Harding and Jasper Carrot for me, you? " For me Dave Chappelle by a country mile and in a league all by himself. Bill Burr second.Pretty sure a lot of his material are verbatim conversations that occurred at one point or another. Third, the rest. For me, it is hard to argue anything Dave and Bill spout.
