As always humour is highly subjective.

I find him funny, but then I always have found surreal comedy hits my funny bone.

On the other hand I can't stand the likes of Mrs Brown's Boys, Last of the Summer Wine.

When you remember Mel and Sue how they’re empathetic, stood up to the judges and offered support. These two just don’t do it for me, Matt just turns up saying something weird and walks off. Noel isn’t too bad but they don’t have that connection in my opinion

I didn’t know much about him before Bake Off but his on screen persona is very attractive. He's the kind of man I'd like to know. To me there seems to be a genuine connection between him and Matt Lucas. I'm aware that what I see in screen might not reflect reality though

Omg he is so different to those mentioned, he is in the same league as Russel brand in the early years,....he understands dry witt and humour....michael macintyre is just family comedy in my opinion,...remains safe for family viewing, annoys me when comedians do this
