It really does depend on a number of factors...

Sometimes I would like to have lots of foreplay and other times not so much but then quite often I just need to be fucked and I am quite happy with him spitting on his cock to just start penetration.

This. And bearing in mind that only around 1/3 of women can orgasm from penetration alone, it doesn’t make sense to think of that as ‘sex’ and everything else as foreplay. It is very androcentric
