I am a face man anyway so it’s not a complete deal breaker and this is absolutely not a criticism - far be it from me.

Why is this though? Is this a snapshot of general reality? are heavier woman more kinky so use a site like this? or is this a place where overweight ladies get attention and on other sites they may not?

I'm classed as obease and I think statistically 60% of women in the UK are overweight to morbidity obease so us fatties outnumber skinny ladies not just on fab... To be fair I see many beautiful women of all shapes and sizes on here and don't think one body type is more prevelant than another... Why does it bother you either way? As an actual answer, I think many men are less fussy where they poke their penis for a shag and that is why the vast majority of men and women are on Fab. (Yes we know forumites are a little different, but we're also a tiny percentage of the overall fab population) So acceptance of larger women to those ends brings more women. Yes. It's a well known fact that kink is directly proportionate to weight. We aren't called fat fuckers for nothing OP. Basically op - people (men AND women) are becoming more and more overweight in general - and as some have said - 60% (myself included these days) are overweight or obese. While people will expound on the reasons for hours and blame the government, supermarkets and food manufacturers - the fact is that most of us exercise less and eat more sugary/fatty foods than previous generations - and that’s down to all of us as individuals - not society.

Yep there are those with physical or mental conditions who can’t control their weight - but the majority of us can.

One thing, though - when you say their aren’t as many larger ladies on tinder, pof etc I’d dispute that.

On those sights people don’t tend to show themselves in all their naked glory or underwear as we often do on here! Camera angles can do a lot. I believe there’s more honesty about body shape/size on fab and more acceptance - and that I love!

Tbh I just think the ladies of fab are more sexually confident whatever their size (and rightly so) than women on dating sites perhaps are.

A couple of days ago I took a naked pic (though I’m overweight and unhappy about it) and posted it on here. On a dating site if I posted a pic I’d probably wear ‘flab hiding’ clothes and use clever angles (though tbh I’m damned if I know what those ‘clever angles’ are - I’ve just read about them in here!) - so the fact I’m currently overweight wouldn’t be obvious!

Ergo comparing naked/nearly naked women on fab to women on ‘clothed’ sites wouldn’t provide an accurate comparison.

Go into town and take a look at the average female, I think fab represents it perfectly fine.

Tinder is full of younger people and tbh I was slim when I was younger too.

Also, filters are used heavily on there, so they might just look slimmer on their photos.

However, I find it very judgmental to pass any comments on peoples weight or image when you hide yourself away.

Personally, I like my plumpness

Whether you meant to or not OP, you have come out with a thread that jumps right into the middle of what it always going to be a contentious issue.

Honestly I don't think it sounds like you are fat bashing or fat shaming, but asking a series of questions.

Your final question; "or is this a place where overweight ladies get attention and on other sites they may not?"; however, has just made me and I'm sure other women on here who struggle with their confidence feel like utter crap, because actually in some cases it is true.

I've been made in the past to feel like I'm good enough for a shag as long as no one knows about it, or as a "fuck a fattie" dare, but not good enough to actually date, to go out with their mates with, to be proud to be with. And that last question just bashed the confidence I've been building and took me right back there.

I've never criticized anyone for their looks, weight, style, penis size, boob size or anything on here, I do my best to be a nice person and make people smile (disclaimer... this isn't always possible because sometimes I have a bad day, I am after all human). I'm one of those women who replies to polite messages, to one word messages, even when I've got no interest in the person sending them. I still find it hard to believe when people say I'm attractive or they're attracted to me. And you've just knocked me back a long way.

Yes, I'll bounce back, because I'm fat and I bounce. And realistically the opinion of an anonymous stranger on the internet isn't actually that important. But the negative comments that anyone makes are always the loudest ones I and people like me hear.

Right now I'm in tears writing this comment and that's down to you and the others on this thread who have said similar things. Thanks guys.
