What's in a name?

Do certain names lend themselves to certain types of people?

For example I have never met an ugly Abbie.

Every Emma I've ever met has been very driven sexually and as for every Georgie....

Anyone else found this or am I pre- judging based on previous experience?

Pre-judging and quite possibly being extra tuned into those traits/expectations because you're already looking for them.

No, not at all. I think you are pre judging personally.

My ex husband and my brother have the same name, they couldn't be more different if they tried.

Manchester (she/her)

It tells you about their parents.

My name is "my parents were unimaginative and I was born in the 1980s"

Same. It's not either of those names though. I loathe it and would change it if I thought my mother would be able to cope.

Working in Childcare made it difficult choosing names for my baby when he was born

Every name that his Dad suggested was met with;

No, I looked after a Ben and he was a little git

Shaun was covered in Snot

Nathan squealed constantly

Jack bit me

And no we are not calling him Dylan that kid's a weirdo

I haven't experienced it, I would say you're prejudging!
