surrounded by twinkly lights

6ft and bigger is better because I can fit more tinsel, lights and decorations on it

Definitely bigger is better, in this instance of course. I like my angel to have to slip it's halo down a little to stop it from hitting the ceiling Haha

Does shape and width play a part also, not just size

Apparently bigger isn’t always better as it damages your cervix. I mean ceiling.

Damn autocorrect

I loved my 3ft fibre optic tree. Lasted 3 years and looked great when decorated.

Mine is a 6ft fiber-optic tree. It’s all snowy and pretty! Can’t wait to get it up and decorated.

I’m putting it up once I wall mount my tv, which should be this week x

North West

We have a diddy 4ft (I think) fake tree that we bought from Asda in 2005 as impoverished students. It was the cheapest one there. We also bought BOGOF lights and baubles, tinsel etc. The whole thing still stands and will be erected in mid December. The lights gave up the ghost last year at the grand old age of 14yrs so we splashed out on some with multiple settings from Amazon (about a tenner )

I live in an old cottage which is great but of course the ceilings are low. So my Christmas tree is usually about 5ft. Leaves space for the huge fairy that has the tree rammed up her arse.

But it will not be collected or decorated before the beginning of December.

Size isn't as important as how well you use it.

It really depends on how much room you have to put it up in.

No good if it's so small it doesn't stand out or so large it's bent at the ceiling how you going to get a star on that?

As always though, it's not about how big the tree is but how many presents are underneath.

We have a 6 foot artificial one that’s about 10 years old and it will be decorated with a mix of decorations made by the kids and even a few made by us as kids.

I am really looking forward to putting it up early this year maybe 21st or 22nd of December.

Northampton Somewhere

Ill get a 6ft real one for the lounge, usually have to prune the back so it sits in the corner a bit better. Usually I like girth to!

I have a very slim 5ft one that goes on my kitchen work top and I might go all out and get another one for our dining room. I don't think I've been so excited about putting my trees up ever but have to wait until 2 weekends before Christmas. Apparently

I down sized mine from 6ft to 3 ft two years ago to better fit my teensy living room. I put it on a side table so it still has height, just not base width. Still looks pretty

So yeah, size matters. I don't like'em too big
