Its so weird and uncomfortable so i always skip places that serve fish or dont eat with people who are about to order fish lol" I have a fish phobia too, but it's live ones. I used to be phobic of anything old that could possibly die....so cut flowers, plants, injured animals and old people. I was in councelling for 7 years! It affected my life in many ways, I couldn't have flowers in the house, or plants in the garden. I couldn't keep pets incase they died. Road kill had me having panic attacks at the wheel, and I couldn't use public transport or walk on narrow pavements incase I came into contact with someone old who might touch me. An incident with an old lady carrying flowers and placing her hand on my shoulder in a supermarket led me to being hospitalised. That's how severe it was. Ive been free from those phobias ( mostly) for about 5 years now, and I've learned coping strategies for when they creep up. Around 7 years ago I developed another phobia, which I'm not allowed talk about on here. This particular phobia is very difficult to avoid in everyday life, and has left me with PTSD, which is partly the reason for me leaving the scene. Huge sympathies to anyone who suffers x

"It used to be failure. I'm over that now. Took a lot of introspection and realising that depending on the situation, you can't not fail if others are steering the boat in another direction. The true failure there is sacrificing who you really are to prevent the initial failure you were fearful of in the first place." I'm glad you're over it.

It's not the fear of dying, it's more the uncertainty and not being able to control it

The suspicion with my needle phobia is that during my infant vaccinations I picked up on my mum's anxiety and it stayed with me. "snakes i was bitten We have 4 snakes and one spider , we have both been bitten by the snakes and so has my daughter, I think snakes are portrayed to be bad as are spiders. It always makes me wonder when people will happily stroke a large dog that has the potential to kill but won’t hold a snake that can could draw a little blood at best. "Mice and Rats absolutely despise all of them. In fact I can't even watch them on the telly. And something quirkt thing that effects my everyday life is, of and when I'm carrying bank notes in my back pocket the notes must be in order that is to say highest denomination at the back so for instance £50,20,10 & £5 notes in that order and all facing in the same way with Queen facing upwards" I'm the same with mice and rats. It's unusual to hear the money one
