Inspired by the current 'where would you live?' thread...

I realised, I've never been to Devon or Cornwall

I've never been north of Edinburgh in Scotland

I've never been to central or southern Wales

Seeing as we are likely to be somewhat restricted travel wise for the next couple of years, are there any places in the UK you haven't been to that you really should visit?

I'm quite fancying the idea of a week or two experiencing the Scottish Islands

I am regularly in Scotland; Carnoustie is a haven away from everywhere, Edinburgh is so vibrant. I love it. The east coast drive up is stunning from Whitley Bay up

Need to explore Southlands a bit more, Devon is definitely on my list of places

I've never been to Blackpool, Skegness or Newcastle.

Possibly not the most scenic places in the country but always been curious about them.

Lytham is pleasant

Blackpool is what it is

Google 'Bill Bryson Blackpool' for a free 5 minute read

It's a dated and somewhat skewed review, but the bare bones are there

I like the place, but then again, I am cheap and provincial too

I have friends on jersey to buy is very complicated, you need to either be born there or live there for 10 years!

I really want to go to the Eden Project in Cornwall and do the longest zipping in Wales.

I had plans to do the NC500 in Scotland next year, but not sure if that is likely to go ahead now.

Gapping Fanny

I am quite lucky that I have visited most places that interest me, both in the UK and abroad.

My travel plans now are based around people and events, and less on what the place jas to offer.

Apparently there is life outside the M25, I like to go to Cornwall, Scotland especially the Highlands and I like to go back to Glastonbury outside festival season and enjoy the landscape. I also like to travel by bike along the south coast and see how much has changed in the last 20 years.

North West

I'm lucky I've travelled pretty widely in the UK, but I've not made it to the Scottish islands. My friend used to go to Arran for summer hols and it looked beautiful, so maybe Scotch Island hopping?
