Tree up for Christmas?

A bit early yet for us but think it might make an earlier appearance this year, anyone else going for earlier....or maybe not bothering at all

Take care all

Good lord no!

Virus or no virus it's only November and we will probably doing the same as usual, and put it up a week before Xmas.

Not yet. I never put it up before my boys birthday as it would spoil it for him.

I think my OH would move into the garage if I put it up before December, but I've seen loads up already

I've got a potted one outside, it's done really well, must be about 4 years old now, looks lovely with twinkly white lights x

I won’t be bothering this year - which will no doubt have the kids in uproar.

We have a huge, gorgeous but very destructive 9 month old pup - and he’d destroy the very expensive tree and the baubles that have taken decades to collect.

We’ll put a few decorations and ornaments up where he can’t get to them!

Nope, it’s November. Really wind me up when I saw friends putting them up before remembrance to be honest. I understand people wanting the year to be over, but the tree being up isn’t going to make it go by any quicker.

I don't know if I'm going to bother this year to be honest.

I live alone with Mutley (my dog) previous years I have, as people came over.

This year that ain't gonna happen and I'm not fussed about having them up just for me to look at.

I will be eating too much and partaking of festive alcoholic drinks though

Ours is up. We're normally December decorators but the 4 year old saw the tree before it could be put away. So we thought fuck it!

Just over there

Not the tree but we're starting to gather the logs and greenery, just to get some sort of Christmassy feel going...

^^^this! I have a December birthday too and the family never put the tree up before the 16th. Hate it that no one can ever go out (in normal years) as they’re all tied up with or are skint because of Xmas parties.

Could you put a small fake tree up on a table or something, Peachy? Out of pup reach?

I put the tree up on Thursday.

At least I've put something up recently, not much hope of anything else

I would have been lost without her this year. Love her to bits.

I really need the library to open again though, I'm sick of playing the same songs on my keyboard and need new music books lol

Going to sound like the grinch, but I haven't bothered for years, no point when there's only me and the cats to see them.

I loved The Grinch.

Right up until he rescued Christmas and saved the day
