Voice notes

Do you ever listen to voice notes straight after you've sent them just to see how it came across?

I tend to find myself cringing at how much I say "like", "basically" and "ummm"

I love voice notes, it's such a convenient way of having a conversation without the effort of typing or being committed to a full phone call

Nope, as I know I'd hate how they would should

I was having a phone chat with someone a while ago, and the line had a really bad echo on it, so I could hear everything I was saying a few moneys after saying it. I'd say something that I thought was funny or sexy, then hear it back and it sounded neither, just dumb and full of 'ums'

She seemed to enjoy the chat though, so hopefully it was just me.

If I want to speak to someone I ring them, and if I want to relay something that doesn’t require their input I just send a short text.

I made the mistake of listening a couple of times and cringed at how animated my voice is and wished I could play it a bit cooler.

I like voice notes on the whole, I enjoy hearing another's stream of consciousness and how their mind flows, I find it fascinating and an interesting insight into someone.

I voice note with my friends all the time. On Telegram you can play them back at high speed, so it sounds like the Chipmunks are off their faces
