Brunette, boring but I've spent so many years bleaching my hair that I now don't like the colour it comes through naturally and it's too porous to hold bright, vibrant colours.

Put it in ponytails then put another band where you want the dye/ bleach to stop.

If you don't want it to have a harsh line, backcomb the hair so it's messed up and then put the dye/ bleach on. Dabble the dye/ bleach on with your fingers so it's uneven, kind of feathery.

YouTube has great tutorials.

"Mine is currently pillowbox red. What's yours?"

Absolutely. I’m almost completely grey if I don’t - and not the ‘nice’ grey. I dye it a ‘realistic’ (I hope) red.

Whilst I love vibrant, artificial (ie blue, pink, purple etc) colours on others - I really don’t think they’d suit me.
