"Lethal weapon is set around Christmas and is a better film in my opinion. But that aside, I do watch both over Christmas so for me they’re category b Christmas Films. Cat A Scrooge (Alistair Sim version) A Miracle on 34th Street It’s a Wonderful life Home Alone Holiday Inn Love Actually To be controversial slightly Planes, Trains and Automobiles Etc... Cat B Lethal Weapon Gremlins Die Hard So any other film around Christmas but not actually regarded as classic is a cat B ![]() It's a wonderful life is my favorite film

But it’s seen by the majority as a Christmas staple now, just like The Wizard of Oz was always on at Christmas, when I was a child. But would that be seen as a Christmas Film ?

So should be in exactly the same category as Die Hard

"When I use to watch TV one film always seemed to be on. The Goonies. Or as I called it. Not that fucking shit again!" I only saw that last year. Always heard it was this amazing childhood classic. Turns out it's just rubbish.
