I had a Mrs and a male 'lover' who were aware of each other and we used to go out for meals etc together

Infact, she was proper upset when I binned him off

I also used to go to gay/bi saunas, sometimes on my own and sometimes he'd come along for 3sum fun

So, I think the signs were there a good few years before I was aware of Fab

I mentioned that to my wife recently. She replied that her parents used to have pampas grass in to work garden when she was a kid.

I then spent the next hour imagining my MIL getting up to all sorts

Contact magazines and adverts on the back pages of certain publications.

I used to work for such a publication and fab is tame by comparison to some of the stuff people would advertise for and actually send to the po box number service we used to provide.

Back in the old old old days I would talk to women and if I got a spark of interest then I’d go a bit further and further and so on but it really helped that I was chairman of a football club with over 300 mothers involved.

For he couple I had my first threesome with, the wife was at the same Sixth Form college as me and was in one of my classes.

We bumped into each other in a pub and she asked for my number right in front her husband. So I had a suspicion at that point, which was confirmed when I met her for a drink and she said so.

Interesting question. I do remember a couple of 90s documentary on swinging and BDSM (the latter was/is available on Netflix now I think) that mentioned swinging. Honestly, at the time, I was surprised that anyone would want to share their wife / husband, but there you go.

Certainly opened my mind.

I did use the adds in the back of the paper once for a meet didn't think of it as swinging though, wasn't until I got my first laptop about 13 yrs ago( late starter) that I got into the sites

We'd reply to the swingers ads in the back of Knave, Fiesta and Escort back in the day!

You had to write a letter in those days, and sometimes people would write back. It took weeks, and sometimes I'd send several letters, each one with a polaroid photo of my penis next to a TV remote.

It just fascinates me how people knew, apart from classified sections of newspapers and a quick 'nudge nudge, wink wink' down the pub on a Sunday lunchtime!!

I wouldn't have had the first idea where to look, if it wasn't for tinternetwebs!

We held a party once (sort of a summer do with a number of neighbours off our street. This one couple about 15 years older than us got super friendly with us and as people started to clear out....swang the conversation towards sex.....told us they were swingers and asked us if it would be something that we would consider. We laughed it off at the time (with some embarrassment) and always joked about them for years after.

15 years later.....we sort of 'fell into FAB......weird world hey'.

Wouldn't look back though...love the forums and the friends you make......and hopefully hold on to!!! Good thread MystiK x

I started in the AltaVista chat rooms, then moved onto mIRC and ICQ, from there to Yahoo and MSN chat before finding a different swinging site. When there was an exodus fro there in 2009 I discovered Fab and joined in Jan 2010. All the sites and chatrooms were for used casual sex hook ups.
