No one can stop you from having cake for breakfast!

NSP and I just had warm chocolate fudge cake and berries for our breakfast!

Yes! That's right! Cake, for breakfast! Breakfast past noon!

And we're not even a little bit sorry!

There's no one policing this shit guys!

You can eat what ever you want when ever you want.

Ironically this is also the worst thing about being an adult.

I can buy ridiculous things that I really don’t need. Without having to beg or justify why I need it.

Throwing axe - done

Slush machine - done

Sea scooter - done

Metal detector - done

Compound bow - done

Bee hive - done

Mini museum - done

Cool board - done

All purchased during lockdown, didn’t have to ask anyone. Only person rolling their eyes is my bank manager!

Can do anything you want when you want...which seems to translate in reality to slobbing on the sofa watching TV and making pointless journeys to the fridge in the hope cooked sausages have materialised since the last visit!

Honestly, it's being to spend money on myself because I'm the one who earned it.

Even when I was younger, I felt bad whenever my Mum and Dad would splash out on me whether it was clothes, toys, games etc. Being able to buy my own stuff is very liberating

East Sussex

We have been having a conversation along these lines today. We're retired and have been for some time, about as adult as you can get really. We were saying we really appreciate being able to get up when we want, take ages over breakfast (ham and tomato sandwich for me today), go out when we want, eat what we want when we want, go to bed really, really late and loads of other stuff without worrying about going to work, picking kids up from school, making sure there's a clean shirt for the morning etc. Those are the things we like about being an adult.

I had a large omelette with 3 egg whites, 1 whole egg, splash of skimmed milk, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes and a coffee with MCT oil.
