Is anyone desperate to have Christmas with your family that you would be prepared for a 25-day lockdown in January?

The above is what the British Government are proposing to happen this year.

Thanks in advance.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Yes. This is likely to be my Dad's last Christmas. I'll take the 25 days if it means we can all be together.

I mean, we are all going to be together anyway because none of us is willing to take away his last proper family Christmas. But it would be nice to be legal.

Yep.

We hate Xmas. But we'd happily deal with an extra 25 days to allow families in these kinds of situations to be together.

We were apart for over 4 months during the first lockdown and it was hell! Some people need their family Christmas. Let them have it.

Redditch

25 days' lockdown is shorter than the one we're technically in now, so sure - bring it on
