Wish there was a place for part time cds like myself to go and dress. Where is the best place to dress, apart from hotels? Any other suggestions?

Personally I think that now is a great time for you to just dress as you please and pop out to the supermarket maybe or a local shop.

You are safe behind your mask so small steps to build up your courage.

Just an ice dresser here but don't have the opportunity to dress as much as I'd like. I'd love to have Tgirl friends to dress with, unfortunately almost all of them want something sexual. Whereas I just wanna dress.

Wouldn't it be the perfect opportunity to start a weekly/monthly social once lockdown end's.

Maybe start a local group meeting up at a local bar or coffee house/tea rooms

Start a Kik or the like making the group small and discreet social meeting only.

Then once trust has been earned you could perhaps meet at house's where a non sexual meeting can happen.

Just an idea

Pink Punters in Milton Keynes when it's open. There's a hotel directly opposite and you can mix with others in the bar on BNO nights (2nd Friday of every month). The club itself is ultra friendly, not a sex club and a great place for first timers. I've really missed the place

Club play (used to be Club SX) is my favourite place to go and also The Gatehouse in Bolton. I know Townhouse is friendly towards the Tgirl community as well on the Wirral.

Gatehouse was open for social meets before lockdown and I’ve never been pestered for sex by any fellow Tgirls in that club or in general on the scene.

When I first went out in the 90s places to dress were very scarce, even in Manchester Gay Village had venues that could be hostile to visit. Now the majority of bars have Tgirls enjoying a drink or meal.

So hotels aren’t your only outlet to dress, after lockdown they’re plenty of places to go

I used to offer a make-over and dressing and photography service from home, on another site, no sexual contact (unless desired lol all ages and shapes and sizes, so thats what you should look for, or a "dressing partner", you will struggle though unless they can lend you free of charge wigs, clothes etc, -also look for storage facilities which you can find on a well-known tv site.

If you are a brummie, if, and when the Greenhouse ever opens again, they have great facilities and a dressing room where you can chat to their girls -its up to you then if you want to "entertain the boys!"

The Greenhouse in Darlaston so not too far for you. They have a T girl appreciation night. There’s a dressing room and the whole place is fantastic. You can dress and mingle to be appreciated and admired. No pressure to play, just a great atmosphere.

There are lots of clubs and social events for us T girls all over the country, or at least there used to be before March.

A certain Tv site will have all these events and days listed. Some events are even just coffee mornings, drinks in a bar or a sex meeting. Something for everyone.

Once restrictions have lifted, there's plenty of saunas that have tgirl sessions and have facilities where you can change, to find venues I use tvchix, message if you want more information

Covid allowing, you want to visit Manchester next summer for the Sparkle trans festival. Think like a pride weekend but it's specifically for trans people. In past years there have been 10,000 or more trans folk turn up for a weekend of just being ourselves, out in public, surrounded by so many of ourselves. Everyone from very first hesitant steps, to fully living the life, youngsters through to OAPs, all giving each other support. The first one i went to (about 12 years ago i think) gave my confidence a tremendous boost.

Google "Sparkle trans" and you should find picture galleries from past years.

Absolutely agree, I’ve been to the last two. Literally last time I staggered back to my hotel room at 5am after drinking and dancing the night away great fun and a great weekend

Also pre- and hopefully post-covid, many areas have trans support and advice groups of various types. Some are just social nights out, some are discussion groups, some tend to be mainly part time cross dressers, some are more of interest to those intending full transition. None of these are exclusive catagories.

I don't know your specific area (I'm in the north west) but if you want to discuss any stuff privately just pm me.
