There and to the left a bit

Being totally honest would you really take legal advice from someone on an internet forum that offered it for free?

You'd be better contacting the CAB or seeking out a solicitor - a lot will do an hour's free initial consultation at which you can establish if you have a case.

I would suggest seducing the judge. But this is fab and I am not legally trained.

Suggest it might be better to not make this public, unless it’s look at me.

im totally confused. no one can use your own name and home as security without significant oversight from the loan securer. thats not to say it cant happen. but such a scenario is very rare.

i feel there is more here to be asked. was this a secured credit line? was this an unsecured loan? im not following.

Why would your first port of call be to strangers on a sex site?!! The Walter Mitty's on here could tell you anything.

Most solicitors offer a free thirty minute consultation. You can outline your case to a professional who can properly advise you.

Yeah, deffo get proper legal advice but if the guy didn’t hold the deeds to the property how did he manage to secure a loan on the property if the bank was doing it’s due diligence? Don’t answer that.

Best of luck.

Probably best details aren't encouraged - best thing the OP could do would be secure proper legal advice and say no more here

You need to see a solicitor. Anyone could tell you anything on here and you wouldn’t have a clue if they actually knew what they were talking about or not

It wouldn’t have been cash would it. There’s gonna be a trail, whether it was paid directly into someone’s bank or a cheque that someone paid into their bank, find where it was paid into and you have the person.

Surely you couldn’t just pick someone’s name and address and then you get given an 80k loan. You’d have to provide ID documents.

Seems a bit odd.

You are asking for serious legal advice from all manner of random people on a swinging site open forum???

Jebus!

Trying to understand some people's minds is like trying to smell the colour 9 whilst looking at a painting on Radio 4

I find the dramatisations on radio 4 paint a very good picture.

Chams or Socials

Check your house insurance to see if you have legal cover. You need specialist advice. And this is more common than most people think

If what you are saying is true, a bank is involved, and a judge has already made comments because it's in court, then you need to get off fab and get yourself down to a solicitor experienced in this area of law, and also the police, if a fraud has been committed.

If the Court has already issued a judgement, then you'll need to get back into court ASAP to challenge it, with proper legal counsel. OF course, you will need legal expertise to see if the judgement was incorrect, and you'll need to evidence that.

I've spent enough time in court to know that things can be turned around, but also you need a sharp mind to get through it. This is not time for amateur hour or the court of popular opinion.

If a loan was secured against a property you did not own that is illegal.

I would get a solicitor and make an appointment with the police and put your side to them.

This needs investigation by them to bring the culprit/s to justice.

Also you may have a legal position against the lender for not carrying out due diligence.

A compensation claim for use of your details, damage to your credit score, stress, loss of possible income would also be in order as the bank/lender has broken various laws which a solicitor would be better placed to answer.
