I dont understand why sport played outdoors in the open in small numbers of ppl was banned anyway?! Tennis, golf, cricket should still have been allowed

I think gyms should be open too!

Most gym users are those who think a bit more about their health and fitness and are more likely to try and maintain their health rather than reduce it. (I know, a sweeping generalisation)

Yet, schools are open, and kids are packed into classrooms and corridors to catch and spread the virus, and take it home. Makes no sense to me.

Lockdown only works if EVERYTHING is locked down, including ports and airports.

Quite right... golf can be played perfectly safely and within the current restrictions (even if those restrictions are quite ridiculous)

If they're allowing contact sports such as football and rugby to continue, then I see no reason not to allow outside sports where you can keep to more than the advised social distancing to continue.

I know that contact sports players are tested much more often than others, but golf can still be played socially, eg provide disposable gloves by each green for players to remove the flags, rake bunkers etc.

We’re not taking flags out and no rakes so pick and place in bunkers xx

Even less excuses not to allow golf to be played.

Well its an open aired sport with some distancing but it should be banned like other sports to show consistency.
