It's a new one for me, had it not been for the virus I'd be in New Zealand with my eldest sister. I'm ok with that though. Anyone else alone this year, how do you intend to cook a Christmas dinner for one?

That's bad luck ...why not get the best steak you can and enjoy that instead... turkey's overrated anyway

I’ve spent Christmas Day on my own and I’d be happy to do so again.

I think my son will be at home this year, rather than go to his dad’s as he usually does because of the virus.

I’d normally have steak for Christmas, no idea what we’ll have this year. Definitely not turkey which is so overrated.

Last Christmas was my first ever alone. My kids were with their dad for a week.

I had offers to go to family and friends but decided to stay home alone and enjoy the tranquility. I didn't do anything special for Christmas day, just treat it like any other day, and I just relaxed and did things for me. It was great.

I've done a, few on my own, and worked a couple. Undecided whether to work this year though.

Still done the dinner and what not, but instead of turkey was either a big gammon, or done goose once.

Yes, I was alone last year and will be this year (as I doubt I'll be up in Scotland!)

I enjoy it. Don't get dressed the whole day, buy posh food from M & S & eat all day x

I spent Christmas for the first time by myself last year, it was a bit sad tbh plus on Christmas I found out my cousin got a heart attack (she lives back at home in the country where I'm from) and then she got a stroke. It was hard because I was alone, it was a very sad experience to have.

So I empathise with you bruv, you're in my thoughts and take care

I've cancelled it this year,

My own fault but no partner this year,

Family well we won't go there,

I'm off work from 24th to the 4th,

So chilling, eating ( not Xmas Dinner and all that)

Hopefully decent weather and no lockdown so out and about with the camera.

Roll on 2021

Maybe try a vegan Christmas, roast potatoes cooked in decoy duck fat. I can do vegan, like to experiment once in a while, see how the other half live
