"Alcohol."

Agreed. I rarely drink alcohol on meets or in clubs.

I save my alcohol for Friday nights usually too and share a bottle of wine or a few bottles of beer.

When the pubs were open I used to have a few cheeky pints over the weekend around the family.

I'm very strange when it comes to drink.

I sometimes go months on end without any.

Then out the blue I fancy a drink and down a bottle of vodka in a night.

Im lucky that I don't get hangovers or anything.

I supposed I'm classed as an irregular binge drinker?

I think it is slightly over rated, and quite dangerous, but as with anything, it's about moderation.

This absolutely, and it's the families who bear the brunt of that legacy.

All is good in moderation.

A proper bottle of Italian Red can be the perfect unwind.

After loosing a parent to drink that may surprise many.

I have a can of Guinness at the weekend when I'm not working thats it and thats only for medicinal purposes, honestly Dr told me to

But each to there own in moderation,

Had relationships with 2 separate females that had drink problems but couldn't see it.

If you can drink responsibly it can be a good occassional treat to help relax on a weekend.

Me personally, enjoy a good piss up every now and then but I never drink alone as that is boring

You can

I very rarely drink these days

I honestly can't remember when I last drank alcohol

Although, I did get tipsy in London, April 2019

The last time I was d*unk was 2005

Depends how it affects you.

If you're addicted or dependent on it then it's as bad as smoking, overeating, gambling, drugs etc etc.

If you can drink socially without turning into a twat then it's absolutely fine.

I'm a cuddly, funny (in my eyes ) d*unk. For some it turns then into an arsehole.

I love the red wine tbh. I sit with my neighbour ( in my social bubble as per Irish government guidelines) and love the banter and craic. We solve many a philosophical debate ! Each to their own..

Currently enjoying my umpteenth gin. Not normal for a Wednesday but it was State of Origin this morning (you may need to Google it ) and it's an annual tradition to get wellied.

So my stance is much the same as yesterday...

Not had any for nearly two years. Do I miss it? Yes! I was never a big drinker but there are occasions when I'd love a glass of champagne, or a g&t.

N/A alternatives aren't quite up to scratch yet.
