Does anyone else wake up in the early hours with absolutely random worries that wouldn't bother them one bit in the daytime?

I woke up a while ago thinking that I wasn't sure which junction to take off the motorway in order to get to somewhere I have no intention of going

What on earth is that about??!

great yarmouth

I sometimes wake up from a vivid dream still thinking thats the reality, until I fully wake up. Or sometimes I get morning anxiety, racing thoughts, tones of silly worries I wouldn't normally think of.. best to just ride it out knowing it'll soon pass.. horrible though I hear you

That is funny.

If it was a dream, then, I would say you have something in your mind subconsciously. Based on your story, maybe in making decisions between several things.

But you were awake, so my theory doesn't work there.

Luckily insomia doesn't bother me too much, but I have friends who suffer dreadfully, so I hear you

Yes, I have that too sometimes.

This one was more of a completely random thought.

No idea....but I was awake and thinking it through for a few minutes before I realised that the answer didn't actually matter

I do but they're a result of having awoken already and lying in the dark, fully awake. My mind will then occupy itself with random thoughts or memories. They're not there immediately after waking.

I then get bored and feel the need to get up or switch on the telly for distraction, which almost always sends me back to sleep.

125 miles to get to work? Every day?? That's bonkers. On the brighter side, is the traffic very light or chocker block with delivery vans?

over 1900 miles last week. At least my next job is closer. Traffic is just as bad.
