Your house is on fire and you have just enough time to save one thing from it. What is it?

All family members and pets are safely outside.

I'd run back in and check if I'd left the oven on.

Chams or Socials

My handbag as it would have phone, car keys & purse/bank cards in it so we can get to my dads & buy what we immediately needed (clothes, prescriptions etc) Everything is insured & replaceable.

Wallet, car keys, phone

They are all kept together for that very reason

If I am downstairs, they are on the side table beside me

If I am in bed, they are on the ottoman at the end of the bed

Abergavenny

The urns of my 2 dogs ashes. They were rejected at birth by their mum and as i bred them, bottle fed them, done everything. Had to take 3 weeks off work to look after them. I've never had children and these 2 were the closest I've ever come to having kids.

Everything else can be replaced

middle of nowhere Cornwall

As long as all pets are safe including tilly lizard and peafowl. Then photos are online and everything is replaceable even if it will take years. Maybe next time I can fill everything better

I stayed at the Thurrock travel lodge and for those that don't know it, the hotel is under a services

I'm in bed and the fire alarm went off, so I threw a hoodie on, pulled my jeans over my pj bottoms, grabbed my wallet, laptop and car keys

I went upstairs and into the car park where everyone from the services and hotel were gathered. I thought I'm not standing here, so opened the car, sat inside and then noticed I'd also brought the TV remote control out with me
