Men outnumber the ladies on here probably by about 150/1 so the chances of getting a reply are slim thus its probably nothing you are doing wrong. The only bit of advice I have picked up along the way is interact on the forums and less dick pics.

You need a better range of photos , 2 just isn’t enough unless you send more detailed ones on a message. Your profile text doesn’t say much about you and what you want. No woman is ever gonna message you and ask you what you like .

It all starts with a profile. I dont think anyone gets anywhere with "message me to find out more" as guys with that end up asking for advice.

Hi OP,

Firstly, don't give up hope fella, there is always someone for everyone. Just needs time and patience.

As for my suggestions, as mentioned above, two things that are really important is a number of photos, not just naked ones but ones of you being you. The ones with a smile actually go a long way and stay away from dick pics or at least keep them private.

The other thing that is important would be to add more to your profile. Talk about not just what you look like but about what you want, what you are here to find etc - see my profile for an example

Also, as a side note. I would advice against saying things like i am a bigger fella etc, with the right combination of pics, people can already see this.

Dont play yourself down but don't be cocky either.

Humble and funny are a good combo for a profile i think.

What are you writing in your messages? If you don't write something appealing you are unlikely to get a reply. Most of the messages we get are truly awful but somebody presumably thinks they are worth sending.

Give us an example of what you send and we'll give you feedback.

Could be your profile

Could be your messages

Could be who you're messaging

Could be how you look

Could be your age (25 is still seen as young by many here)

Could be because very few people are meeting

Could be because due to the sheer numbers of guys here

Could be people can't be arsed with chatting atm

There are literally tens of variables and reasons

You have to bear in mind:

Women here are vastly outnumbered by men

A lot (but not all) are looking for 'fantasy' men - and there are plenty of those here

The messages you send might be polite, but they are unimaginative / run of the mill to a woman who receives tens of those 'polite' messages every day

It's not easy for the majority of guys here, even under normal circumstances

Circumstances are far from normal at the minute

I received your example message as a PM. I'll keep the response on here since you asked publicly.

The main issue you have with that message is that there is nothing there at all that would give anybody a reason to write back. People are not here for you to get what you want. You are not a charity. They want what they want. Ideally, two parties would appeal to each other and provide what each other wants. Then you have a connection.

Telling somebody that they seem like a person you would like to chat with is all about you and what you want. There doesn't seem to be any consideration about what the person you are writing to wants and how you might meet that.

There's nothing about what you are like and why they might want to even reply, let alone have an ongoing conversation with.

You haven't explained what you like about them either. There are no compliments or any suggestion you have even read their profile.

You could literally send exactly that message, word for word, to a thousand people on this site. It shows no interest in or understanding of the person you are talking to. For all the recipient knows, you have carpet-bombed every person from Land's End to John O'Groats with that message in the hope somebody somewhere replies. It's like suggesting you might get a date from phoning people up and saying "I've been told you have been involved in a motor vehicle accident in the last three years that wasn't your fault".

You will stand more of a chance if you write about something you have seen in their profile that you like. Best of all you would be able to tell them why they might enjoy chatting with you.

Men vastly outnumber women and couples on here and they send a lot of messages, so you have to stand out to stand a chance. Your message is as generic as they come so you should not expect any replies. We certainly wouldn't reply to a message like that.

As a woman that doesn't reply to most people I don't know if this is the case for others though but I just can't be arsed chatting it just feels pointless and people are wanting to plan meets for after covid like that probably won't be until 2022 dude I don't even think I'll be alive then
