"I only have one ego, and it's big! "

Think you’re mixing up ego and brain there lovely

Nope. Only one ego here that sometimes comes out to play when whiskey is involved. That’s why I stay away from the stuff

surrounded by twinkly lights

I have an inner chimpanzee that comes out to play when I've crossed the line of inebriation, luckily that's only a couple of times a year

I dont know if this is a thing or not but i have a different version to an alter ego. Its more an alter culture or alter lingo?

Basically, if im happy and calm my mind always uses the english language and refers to english custom.

When im angry, upset or in a mood, without my control, i switch to turkish

For example; all the best sad songs i know and listen to are turkish, cant get sad to english music.

But all the hype dance tunes i listen to are in english, never turkish.

All the angry gangsta rap i like is turkish, all the sing along tunes are english lol

Whenever i get angry, i always cuss in turkish out loud or in my head but whenever i want to say thank you for example, it always comes to me in english first even if im about to say it in turkish.

I hope someone has the same condition

I am Welsh and same thing happens

It is because when you are in an emotive state the most primitive area (limbic system) of the brain overrides the higher functioning areas.

I guess it's like a car going into limp mode, it needs to shut off the functions it has no need for at that time

I always thought it had something to do with the language itself.

The turkish language is really expressionist if you like. Many words to specify exactly what you mean or how you feel.

Literally one word can explain a whole sentence compared to the english language.

Good insight

Manchester (she/her)

I think I just have facets I hide or emphasise. But all a coherent whole

I'm still pinning my Hope's on being bitten by a radio active spider or a tragic gamma ray experiment for this one.

Yes, I think this is true for everyone. We all have good and bad traits, it's not an alter ego, we're just multifaceted and different traits come out with different people.
