Personally we don't feel fabswingers has supported clubs at all. Some clubs have diversified and made social distance socials available. Some have even opened and had seated theme nights. Yet fab have had a blanket decision to in better terms shaft the clubs. Being business owners ourself we feel all business need as much support as possible to get through these trying times and by fab not letting clubs advertise for safe social night or even just to keep there name in the pot is wrong. And what's with verifications not be allowed.

I personally think fab have tried their best to maintain a stance that is responsible.

Who knows how it's governed but I'm sure they have done their best to do what's safest.

I wouldn't trust half of the people on here to actually listen, and many would see a change of stance as a green flag to go out shagging again.

There and to the left a bit

I guess it comes down to which is more important - promoting health for all or promoting clubs - sending out mixed messages by promoting clubs, even for socially distanced events could potentially lead to *some* members thinking meeting generally is ok.

Also consider that most of the club events are probably limited in terms of numbers etc - so promoting beyond what the clubs are doing themselves, could potentially cause more problems than it solves

The site owners have made an ethical decision which could have implications for them commercially, personally I don't feel they have any responsibility to support clubs or activities they have no control over.
