New to all this and it’s a pretty daunting step to try and familiarise yourself within, speaking to a female who is a regular on the swinging scene she said the people are ever so friendly if anything too friendly ... all Iv found is the rudest stuck up women Iv ever come across, probably not the right place for me I get there’s a lot of dick head men but Iv been nothing but polite, rather frustrating

Do you know what... I’ve had men tell me I’m stuck up my own arse. One today did, I didn’t answer his first boring nondescript copy and past message and as he hadn’t read my simple profile I mass deleted. I then got a message 4 hours later telling me I can be added to the stuck up their own arse bitch list... sadly he blocked me before I could teach him the error of his ways... so basically it’s not always the people your approaching where the problem lies OP. Last year sometime I was told I was too stuck up if I was going to ignore all men on Fab. Was news to me, I'd been messaging men on Fab all day.

Now I'm not judging but a quick glance at your profile and I'd like to point out that there are a few things that I personally would class as off putting. With the sheer volume of inboxes women get, being on occasion overwhelming women do often get jaded on here. Leaving us little option but to be blunt with those who dont have potential to take things further. Its easier to be this way than deal with 5 or 6 further messages asking why we wont bend over and give it up for some random unsuitable chap.

This is purely my opinion but I'd suggest taking a look at your profile from our perspective and maybe that could help you find someone more suitable?

I do agree with the point that there is no excuse for rudeness and bad manners however.

But guys on here do often make our patience run very thin so please bear with us x

We opened our profile up to single men yesterday and now have a bit more of an understanding of what women receive message wise.

In two days we have gone from trying to answer everyone back even with a polite no thank you, to just deleting the mindless and endless Hey!! Messages. The ones with a bit more to say we would have a quick look at your profile and especially the status to see if there is anything there we don’t like. That just feels like if we met you would tell the world on your status and not very discreet.

When you receive literally hundreds of messages you don’t get long to make a first impression.

For us drop the dick pics. I’m guessing all men have one???? Wait until there is some sort of Connection and the wait until it’s asked for.

Insulting your target audience (women) my not be your best move!!!!

As a single man here, you can only do well and retain your well-being if you manage your expectations appropriately. It's really tough for you here.

And during 2020 most people have not been able to meet for sex here. You're here at a bad time.

Due to inbox levels, most requesting fast meets, many are barely able to cope with a tiny fraction of guys messaging. No reply = not taking interest any further, because of this.

Fab is a funny place filled with lots of characters and being a single man you will really have to stand out to get a woman’s attention. Given the volume of messages any woman gets

As with all new users, they should read the FAQs and adjust their ecpectations accordingly.

By the same thinking should a new female have to put up with the barrage of messages she will receive after first joining, most of which are coarse, and thats before shes even uploaded any pics.

Honestly men don’t read the FAQ when signing up to a sex/swinging site.... We uploaded our best pics and start swiping or sending messages......

I can’t feel the pain of a new female user on Fab because I have never walked in their shoes...

But in my mind , receiving 500 messages before I uploaded a pic would be a good thing.... I’d be like a kid in a candy shop and my ego would be massive....."

It’s not a good thing. It’s a scary and overwhelming thing. It isn’t flattering, how is it flattering to be told you’re beautiful when they don’t even know what you look like? It’s a blatant lie that they think will get them into your knickers. “I want to get you pregnant” “come and meet me in my truck” “would you have sex with an older man for money” “I’m going to tie you up and do what I want to you” and on and on and on - those and many more as bad or worse were all in my first few hours on here. Stop acting like it’s great for women, it’s not. I didn’t even have time to get familiar with the site and with filters etc because of the constant, endless messages.

you HAVE to remember that the women of FAB must be INUNDATED with messages, winks etc etc.

Couple of rude people out there but it goes both ways tbh!

I find that u have to take your time and not just message every woman you find attractive. Read profiles and only give your time to people who seem your type.

I think as men we see this as a sex site and think every woman on there wants sex with you... unfortunately not the case.

Just be yourself and the right type of fab profiles will come to you

I find a handful of forumites annoying as I am sure others find me annoying. I respect every persons right not to reply or block. The only ones who annoy are often men: the white knights, the virtue signallers, the clique and the snowflakes,

The men outnumber the women by a lot, so some women tend to think they are better than they are. Some men think they are gods gift to women, so you might find you catch the odd person in the end of a string of one line messages who is less than responsive to yours.

Saying that though, there are some fantastic women out there. I have messaged quite a few to pay a compliment, ended to stoll talking to them the months afterwards.

Finding friends if you want to on here is easy, finding people that want to go to bed with you, not so much.

We’ve found that invariably the rude single female profiles are either not women, not regular users & not usually on here long before disappearing.

Only two of the messages I had in the first week (out of probably about 700) led to meets. One of those is now my FWB, the other I still talk to and will see again post-Covid. I nearly missed the one from my now-FWB because of the sheer volume of messages, which would have been awful. I don’t know what percentage 2 from 700 is, but it’s not a good strike rate.

It might be average for a man to send 700 messages and only get two meets, but to have to wade through 700 messages in one week and only find 2 that are worthwhile is a different thing, and you’ve already said you have no idea what it’s really like for women. Tell me, how long would it take for a single man on here to get 700 messages?

Hmm it depends on what you consider a message......

I usually get 2 males emailing a week....

3 hate mail a week for something I said in the forums..,.,

And 5 from people outside of my travel radius.....

So that’s 10 per week x 52 weeks = 520 per year. So a single male will get 700 messages in 1.5 years.....

A woman gets that on her first day with no pictures posted......

I want to die a comeback a female...the first thing I’ll do is set up a profile on Fab....
