Visiting Blackpool

Back in the 1980s we used to watch a TV show called Tomorrows World. They said in the future we'd be able to see who we are talking to on a phone (we didn't have mobiles). They said we'd be able to order our shopping on a screen (we didn't have internet). What do you remember of the show? Or what inventions do you think we'll be using in 40 years time?

I remember they said we would have televisions so thin we could hang them on the wall like a picture

They said we’d have flying cars by now....

Instead we have signs to tell people how to wash their hands...

Tesco have been doing for about 2 years, not sure about Co-op. Maybe a local can inform us.

They said that airport runway lights would be cleaned with walnut shells, and it turns out they were right.
