No face pic no chat

See that a lot. Often, it seems, from profiles without pics, even friends only ones, or even photo verified.

Am I alone in thinking that's a bit rich? Maybe a bit dodgy?

I always think if you want to fuck someone, the least you can do is send a face pic lol

I usually ask for one in return too because its a two way street after all.

Sometimes its best to play along with someones rules so long as play and respect your rules too.

That's the thing. The idea of establishing trust. I'd maybe be a little more cavalier in a more highly populated area, where it's easier to be anonymous in the crowd.

If I messaged a guy first with the view to wanting him to have sex with me I would attach a picture of my face. How else is he going to know if he wants to have sex with me if he doesn’t know what I look like.

Otherwise the convo is like this, hello, oh hello, how are you? I’m fine thanks how are you? I’m great so is there a possibility we would have sex? Oh maybe, what do you look like? Oh yes this is what I look like ... other person, oh ok, yeah I didn’t find you attractive sorry.

See how it’s wasted time and messages getting to the only thing that actually matters and that is what you look like.

Just send the picture first as last when you message someone.

If they like the look of you they’ll reply, if they don’t they’ll just delete the message. Honestly people have so many messages they aren’t gonna hold on to a message from a person they aren’t interested in. They’ll just bin it.

Maybe a bit dodgy in some cases - or in others it could simply be they keep all their pics private (which doesn't show on a profile) and choose who to send them to.

Many people would say it's a bit rich that you should have an issue with it when you have no publically visible pics OP.

Personally I take the view that people can run their profiles however they like - if what they choose to share doesn't match with how I run my profile then I simply move on.

In my 'village' environment discretion and anonymity are difficult to maintain. I happily share once I can establish a basrline, and very low, level of trust and contact.

If someone requires a face pic to be able to chat but literally has no pics on their profile I just scroll on by.

Pointless and saves me being a dick when they send a face pic and you’re not interested.

Not sure if anonymity has anything to do with it. Well, maybe depending on the situation of the users but it might be just an attraction thing too.

People don't want to waste time talking if they are not attracted to the person at all, and to cut this waste, no pic no msg seems a good start.

Infact, as a personal preference, i send a face pic with the first msg weather it has been requested or not.

Op you should always get the face pictures out the way in the first or second message.....

It’s really hard to reject something after you have built up a rapport, then you don’t like their face pics....

We don't ask for a face picture but we do ask for *a* picture. We've got enough on our profile for anyone to establish whether they'd be interested in at least talking, it's the least they can do in return.

If they have a body pic and there message is ok I'm fine with that. If you then get on with them then swap face pics.

All this stuff like

You must send a face pic

You must write a essay

You must do this that or the other seems really egotistical to me in a place where it should be about personal privacy and making friends
