Anyone ordered and excited for the release next week? If so what game or games you getting?

I can’t wait get home next week and load up the new ps5

Definitely get one but probably not until the new year, I imagine they'll be quite hard to come by until then anyway unless pre-ordered. Hopefully get it in time for Gran Turismo 7 but I'll definitely make sure I have one by the time the upgrade for The Witcher 3 comes out if not.

I managed to pre order from Amazon in September and can't wait for next week.

I just received my copy of Sackboy's Big Adventure and I'm so impatient to play.

Really looking forward to the next Ratchet and clank game, but looks like that won't be out until next year.

I'll get one eventually for the exclusives, but will probably get an XBSX with GamePass first.

I'm not in any rush though, as there aren't enough games that grab my attention, so will leave the first batches for those that do really want them now.

Hope everyone who manages to get one has a great time with it

Yes will buy one. First time I haven't pre ordered will buy one before Christmas. Usually buy the console just for the next GTA.

Would have done, but I find myself struggling to find games that catch my eye these days. The last week I’ve been playing gta 3 and now on vice city. I tend to feel if I’m going to pick a new series to play I need to start at the beginning of said series but many games are multi-generational now. Once I’ve down gta San Andreas I’m starting on MGS1 through to Phantom pain/ ground zeros which ever is later. As for the PS5, probably won’t pick up till gta 6 at the earliest.

If anyone’s into actual hardware geekiness, Austin Evans has a full ps5 teardown video on YouTube, including showing the pcu. My god it’s big! I remember taking the mick out of the original Xbox for its size, but this is freaking huge!

Awesome I have mine from game can’t wait play spiderman on it.

Ps plus will be amazing access to so many ps4 games also

Am also getting assassins creed for Xmas and cyberpunk with watchdogs been waiting patiently lol

Good choice on gta and mgs. Love starting old and working up so that a lot on assassins creed.

I’ve been waiting patiently so not bought any new games waiting for ps5

I’ve been playing la noire remastered and maneater lol

Oh it’s exciting I can’t wait get home and set up and stuff going make my day teaching drag hahaha

I ordered one. Internet at work wasn’t quite good enough to fill in delivery details so I sent it to my bro to get him to fill out.

He has got it sent to some random number in my street and I won’t be home until well after the 19th.

If you didn't manage to get a pre order then it is highly unlikely that you will find one until next year because you will be competing against scalpers who use computer bots to snap up every console they can get and then resell them on ebay and facebook for over twice the rrp! Look on ebay and you will find literally thousands of new xbox series x's and ps5 pre orders going for stupid amounts of money! They are doing it with anything that is in high demand and low supply,so if you want one just wait for the supply to increase and don't buy one from the scalpers
