When meeting a potential couple or a single. I invariably get myself a bottle of chardonnay, this just to me seems quite acceptable for the mood.

There was this one couple, upon inquiring what drink shall I bring along, the said 'Budweiser'!.

Hello, I thought we've got a ladette in the house. I think l the drink was to calm them as much as me..lol

So out of curiosity what's your drink of choice before a, well,you never know how it's going to turn out.

I gave up drinking a couple of years ago, but when I swang back in the early 00’s, I never drank when meeting other couples - regardless of whether it was in a bar or club or someone’s home. Petrified that I’d otherwise not be fully aware/immersed and “present”.

I'd normally just stick with Ale to relax me or cola to give me a boost of energy.
