Girls, I’d like to wax my ‘lady garden’, bear in mind that I’ve never waxed before down there, I’ve just always just close trimmed with a clipper electric razor.

Is it worth it, do horrible spots appear etc?

I think I can take the pain.... that’s why god made alcohol

Thanks xxx

I get waxed at a spa every 4 weeks. Its certainly not fun but it is well worth it. I won't lie to you the first time is awful but not utterly unbearable. But it gets easier. I've never had any issues with it at all as far as marks or anything. You want a spa with a good product though , you can tell when it isn't. And just a heads up plan on no Sex or swimming for 24 hours.

Good luck & I hope this helps.

Ohhh one more thing my Spa gives me wine before so that really takes the edge off. I usually have two and it makes a huge difference.

I personally much prefer waxing. I do get occasional ingrown hairs but I got them worse with shaving. If I keep on top of exfoliating then I hardly get any.

I have professional waxing rather than do it myself. I don't get any issues thankfully.

?

My one and only attempt at home waxing was disastrous

I'd definitely recommend having it done by a professional...it's not the most comfortable experience, but I get far fewer ingrown hairs than when I shave. I usually take a couple of ibuprofen about half an hour before my appointment which takes the edge off.

Welcome to fab!

Well you both look great - I’m sure you’ll do fine!

I’m a wimp - I shave everywhere twice a week instead - way to soft to handle the pain of waxing!

Near Taunton

It might be red for a while afterwards. Exfoliate daily to avoid in growers. Mostly don't attempt it at home!!
