Long lasting relationships

First shagged my hubby over 27 years ago.

We fell in love and lust quickly but got divorced after 10 years of marriage as life was hard, we didn't communicate and things went tits up. Badly. We married young and were very unprepared for what lay ahead.

5 years after the divorce, fate threw us back together and we've been back together over 10 years and married, again, for 3.

Anybody else remarried the same person or been together for years?

We have the best relationship now. Full of trust, love and amazing sex. Helps that were both as perverted as each other lol

What would your advice be for swinging couples just starting out?

L x

Are you thinking of swinging together? Talk openly and discuss boundaries. Never break your rules. Have lots of fun.

We've been together 40 years.

Advice for people just starting swinging would be never do something just because everyone else does. There is no such thing as a "proper/genuine swinger" and also what Outsider said.

We've been swinging for over 10 years.

Just wondered what others would advise new couples.

Lots of trust and communication is ours.

I hate seeing the word genuine in a description of someone. Not quite sure what it's suppose to mean!

I first started seeing it thrown about by women who wanted to shag certain blokes. Other women those certain blokes were either friends with/in a relationship with or whatever.... basically any female that may have told the bloke the their views on said woman, which may have put bloke off.

They were the ones who got told off for not being genuine swingers, coz a genuine swinger wouldn't cock block, they'd be happy for that man to go fuck who they wanted. When in fact, the "non-genuine" swinger was merely someone looking out for someone else, knowing the stone thrower was a nasty piece of work.

Discuss and be open and honest about what you want to prevent any confusion.

Honesty will always be your ally whilst being in a swing relationship.

My wife and I had a couples profile for years, we scrapped it and have our own profiles now as we only play as a couple in clubs.

We love it we’ve been together 11 years (we were mates at school)

Swinging works well for us but we have maintained honesty throughout.

If one of us feels unhappy we can tell the other and feel ok about it.

That’s a nice story. We’ve been together 27 years and married for 17. Make your own rules, do what works for you, and put each other first before family and kids even.

We have been together for 36 years, over 20 of them were in a poly relationship. We have dipped in and out of swinging as it is an addition to our life only and not our reason for existing.

We only play when it is what we both want at the time and fits in with other life moments.

Open and honest communication is the secret to success in so much. Swinging is no different.
