Does the panel think Pineapple will go well with Rhubarb in a crumble?

Just got a block of stewed Rhubarb out of the freezer to have as pudding later and realise still have some pineapple in the fridge from last night and wondered whether it was worth combining them to avoid wasting good food??

As a general rule, two acids don't go together. How about making a two-sided upside down cake? Pineapple at one end, Rhubarb at the other. Pineapple Crumble has never been a particular success - not IMHE anyway. Used to own a restaurant and using 'left-overs' creatively is a constant 'tease' for your creativity.

Perky xxxx

Pineapple upside down cake sounds great,

rhubarb crumble sounds good,

mixing the two, sorry I dont fancy the idea, but it could work maybe
