I can absolutely assure you that I am not beating myself up. I actually enjoy constructive criticism and I do not need any help with making me feel confident.

Here's my chin, I'll take it on it, I'll listen and take it on board. Part of it was about growing as a person and being able to accept the negative and not being needy. Then you did a "needy" thread.

It's almost like someone saying "I want to be left alone", and then another person rallying the troops to send them a message so they don't feel alone.

They might not FEEL alone, just want to be left alone.
