asking to meet is not the first thing I ask, I like to get to know the lady first get a feel for things etc. If however I do ask and they say no? I’m just down for chatting I’m good with that too. There’s more to the life style than notches on the bed post.

I know this might seem a strange way to operate in a joint

Like this but as a totally non pushy guy l never ask a lady to meet , if lm lucky to get chatting to a lady and its going well as in regular and she seems interested its completely up to her to suggest a meet , of course it has to be realistic and practical in some way too as in distance wise etc.
