Think a lot suggested on here are after 'old school rave' as I know it, like Faithless. To me old school rave are things like Fantazia/Ark or earlier. Two of my favourites below from the Ark era so probably quite late on in the proper rave scene!

I went to a Ark/Fantazia night on a freezing cold boxing day in Blackpool. Flipped out were playing live! At the time, although I knew the track, I didn't know it was them! Jeez we were all buzzin' our tits off...what a welcome surprise! Also met Gayle Sans and Anne Savage that night...amazing times!!!

"Love parade in Berlin was the place to be : )

When this was in full swing Love Parade were going to do a massive rave on the Town Moor in Newcastle.

200,000 people expected to attend. Me and my mates were so fukn hyped but the council didn't approve it over safety fears.

But we all bought tickets for the after party at the Newcastle Arena (cost £35 at the time, almost 20yrs ago now)

Live on Radio one we rocked with 10,000 people from 7pm Saturday night till 6am Sunday morning to:

Dave Pearce

Danny Rampling

Judge Jules

John Dig

Carl Cox

Sacha

Paul Okenfold

And others who I can't remember.

Was the best night of my life

No you know can’t beat the system no you know go go with the flow.

Like a guy called Pete snodden on Facebook, he is a radio dj over here. But on a Saturday night he goes live at 5 from his house or caravan and plays all old school bangers, you'll love it.

Not strictly rave but if anyone ever needs a mood lift & is feeling down, bung on "Joy" by Staxx & you'll soon be smiling.

I don't think there's a better feel good dance track out there.

Agreed

Was lucky enough to be out and about at the clubs in Glasgow in the 90s

When it was the old skool music

Fantastic memories...well the memories I can remember are anyway

Far too many classic tracks from back then to name any

If you love your dance music tune into Clyde 1 on a Friday and Saturday night for the GBX

Bowie always plays some decent tunes from yesteryear on his shows

Old raving tunes! Anyone on Homerave? It's started as lockdown began, as the djs were getting kicked off off Facebook, playing all the old tracks with djs like slipmatt and Dave Pearce, Paul Taylor and duggan etc. I kind of got addicted to it now ??, got back into all the old tunes. Can't beat the 90s!
