In my happy place

Bathroom, door locked, music on. Or send everyone out for a walk.

Let me know when, I’ll stand guard and make sure you don’t get interrupted by any undesirables, I won’t look honest

Indeed. I live alone, and really can't be arsed with any special "me time"

I must be ill or something

hiding from cock pics.

It's the same for me ..crazy full house 24/7 and has been since March.

So much juggling of stuff that constantly needs doing, food being eaten and needing replenishing all the time, washing, cleaning and not much time for me, never mind an hour in on my own.

I sometimes struggle with it, but I try to remember that one day it may feel much too empty if they all move out.

It’s been like this since March for me, I work away normally and have my own place but since it’s still closed I’m home and not alone as there work is not open yet either

I live on my own which for the most part is okay but the restrictions really bring it home just how few people are in my circle. The house echos its that empty, I go to bed at 8pm because I feel less alone up there, can go days without speaking to anyone. So be pleased you've a busy house because the other side of the coin isn't all that.

I can relate to this. I've never gotten so much sleep before.

I do think I would be quite devastated when they all leave home actually I just might go back to taking in lodgers lol

I live on my own too and feel the total opposite - I love it

I have spent my whole life up until December last year living with other people and I'm so glad I'm not locked down with any of them!

I'm sending you hugs and hope you embrace your own company for this short time.

It's temporary x

Exactly this - I am really missing the chance to have a long edging session. Also the term ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’ has never been more true... finding it hard to ‘get in the mood’ when we’ve been in each others pockets for 7 months straight haha.

Bit of both really! Single dad. I get the odd alone time, but house normally busy.

Worst bit is lack of grown up company.

Ah thanks x I'm not all down in the dumps about it, I'm OK with my own company when it's by choice tho. Sometimes you just yearn for real life company and knowing I can't gets to me but understand you'll be living the peace lol

Seems like there is no happy medium

Some people have the house full others have the house empty.

In fairness mine is usually full with the girls friends or my friends kettle is hardly ever cold but just sometimes you miss that time for a nice long slow edging session

I was just about to say something along these lines.

People “stuck” with family are getting overwhelmed, but on the other side chronic loneliness is a serious issue for those that live alone. Sad times and stress on mental health all round.
