Before I start I just want to say that this isn’t a moan.

I just got message from site admin that has under 18s in the picture.

So I was horrified! Panicked that I’d uploaded a picture by accident or worried that somebody had hacked my accounts. I sent a message explaining as much, but it wasn’t till a few minutes later I realised that I’d taken a photo that had pictures of my kids hanging in the background!

Remailed admin explaining I hadn’t realised and how embarrassed I was by my screw up.

Anyway to get to the point, has anything like this happened to you? Have you posted a picture with our realising something embarrassing is in the background?

Do you even notice what’s in the background of pictures?

Please let’s share my pain and embarrassment

It’s more common than you’d believe OP. Pictures, TV programs, porn, pets etc all end up in the background of pictures and get nodded through by mistake. With the sheer volume of pics that must be uploaded, it isn’t surprising that some slip through

Worse thing I've seen is some mouldy bathroom tile grouting, completely spoiled the pic of the gorgeous lady in the tub!

It's not a problem for me since I take basically all of my photos against a plain background, but it's easy to see how it could happen. Don't be too embarrassed OP, just take a closer look next time =)

Oh I totally intend to!!! Hey I’d rather be embarrassed than panicked somebody had hacked the account!
