Sometime today, if you are financial able and find yourself at a coffee or fast food drive through, when you pay for your order, pay for the car behind you too. Again only if you can afford it... then watch in the rear view mirror at the smile you’ve put in their face... and spread some love (no not that type)

I was in a cafe and the lady in front gave me her voucher for a free coffee. It made my day.

How about as you are already there and can clearly afford it you pop into a supermarket and use that money to feel up the food bank donation trolley or cage. You won’t get to see the smile on the face of the person / family that needs that help but you’ll be able to imagine their joy of not going hungry.

Likewise, I’ll add to the food bank collection, as usual, on my next shop

Even one can of beans will help. If everyone did that, the food bank cage would be full.

yep. ?? I’ve even been taking things I have indoors that I just don’t ever use raisins ( I don’t bake or eat them lol ) things like that. It all helps. I buy a extra pack of 4 tinned veg and beans And cereal every time I’m in the shop Not a lot but couple quid and really helps some people

Let me know how it goes. I’ve done it a few times... did it yesterday in macdonalds for a bloke with two young kids in the car. The look on his face was reward in itself

You never know how much the small gestures you can make can make the big difference to people. Even just buying someone a coffee can make their day

Whenever it’s my time of the month and I buy tampax I always buy an extra box and put it in the food bank. I’ve used the old rolled up toilet roll in my pants many times so it’s habit now to always buy the extra pack for the food bank.

This ... this is so important with so many women and girls struggling for the basic sanitary products

This is amazing we need to end period poverty for women if the nhs can give out free condoms women should be able to access free sanitary products. I’m doing this next time I shop I can’t believe I didn’t think of it before. I always keep a few spare in my bag incase one of my classmates gets caught short. Sisterhood we need to look after eachother.

I never thought about tampax for the food bank. That is a great idea. I've been there and it's not any fun!

I’ve heard of terrible situations especially for teenage girls in school. Shouldn’t be happening in a country as rich as ours
