That goes as much for the "Jesus of Nazareth" character as it does the "Christ of Faith" Jesus who performed miracles etc. in the Christian mythos.

This shouldn't really be controversial, but most people simply aren't aware of it.

Most of the supposed teachings of Christ were lifted from Confucius.

Whether he existed or not is irrelevant, our whole society is based upon ideas and beliefs.
