You know what I mean?

A few dates, things seem to go well then one day they text you and say they don’t want to see you again.

How does that make you feel?

Do you play things back in your head, questioning yourself and wondering what you did/ what went wrong?

Or do you just carry on and forget about it and consider it their loss?

Sometimes it’s not as black and white as that, but you get what I mean.

Things happen to change people's minds, so I'd just move on.

No do overs though, the gate is bolted firmly shut and padlocked

Typically just move on. I’m not one to over think my own behaviour/actions because I’m always myself so if they don’t like it then so be it.

Just move on.....

After all it could of been you/me making that decision and we wouldn’t question how someone else would take it ....

It happens....Not everyone you meet will be for you and unfortunately its through time that you realise this...Not worth dwelling on it..Chin up and move on to bigger and better..

It's happened to me and it's made me feel like absolute shit.

Why? Because I'm all too human.

Anyone who thinks they can just move on without a second thought and not take it at all personally is either in denial or lacking some part or their humanity.

It's amazing how many times I have honestly had my heartbroken a lot of the time I think to myself here we go I found a real catch unfortunately they're not a real catch they're just a money grabbing catch so to speak so the best thing to do is just brush your shoulders off up and carry on don't let it affect you life will get better

The Op is referring to a couple of dates, not a long term relationship...

Just because you thought the dates went well it doesn't necessarily mean the other person thought so.

I would personally question why I thought the dates went well, if so. Sometimes we can be so wrapped up in ourselves that we completely forget the other person's take on things.

To say its their loss is a bit childish and hints at insecurity imo.

Thanks I know what the Op is referring to and that's what I'm responding to.

Going on a few dates that seem to go well and then being told by text that the person does not want to see you again should be hard to take in anyone's book.

The Op is also asking how it makes you feel, not how it should make you feel.
