What did you learn about yourself from lockdown #1 and will do differently ?

How will you maintain your physical, mental and spiritual health this time ? What’s your priority for the next few days?

My life not in a lockdown and in a lockdown varies on such a minuscule scale that I don’t need to change anything that I do already.

I learnt that I spend all my money on days out with the kids. When that wasn't possible I saved loads and that my head WOULDN'T explode doing simpler things and staying home with them more often.

No but it stings like hell, make sure you get sterile eye wash in before Thursday and you’ll be just fine

I learned that going through a divorce when you’re locked down together isn’t great.

Still, it will be nice to just check it by having another go

That’s what I learned... also being friends for a long time doesn’t necessarily mean they’re a good friend

I learnt how much of a social being I am the first time, as a key worker I won't be in a second lockdown and all my social energy is now focused into my photography

Yes

We can count on each other.

Helping each other helps lift spirits.

Focus inwards as much as you can.

Take pleasure in little things.

Under the Duvet

I learnt to appreciate the small things.

I learnt not plan too far ahead!

I learnt I can adapt to change.

I learnt sometimes good things happen when you don't expect them.

That my standards never slip no matter what situation I'm in. I continued to shave every other day keep myself physically fit and not turn to alcohol.

Basically I didn't turn into a Robinson Crusoe lookalike, apparently many poor males did.

I learned that my concerns over being a misanthrope are unfounded. I'm constantly being barraged with the facts that humans are not supposed to be alone and doing so will cause mental harm.

It bloody doesn't for me!

Inadvertently, I got locked down with a family member. At one point I wasn't sure if I could actually carry on, there was no escape, just knowing another human was in my private space almost crushed me and I would walk late at night, crying in anguish, not wanting anyone to hear.

Nothing else changed for me except that, my life continued and continues as before, the only saving grace is that I move next week and I can't bloody wait!

That we can keep on working relentlessly and still smile and appreciate life.

Will be doing exactly the same this lockdown too.

All I learnt was how to fit a quart into a pint pot AND just about staying sane. Not sure how much sanity I have left for further bending of the laws of time and space
