The question is what would you do if you were on a first date and your date did this ?

I just watched the clip. I would be embarrassed and feel awkward, especially when he gets his calculator out and said you had more of the brownie than me...

I have no issue splitting a bill, I am happy for 50/50 regardless of costs of each meal or drinks had.... just split the bill and let's go

In fairness to her, she dealt with the situation as best as she could.

I may start watching these, haven't seen them before.

I think you'll love it to be honest, a dating show sounds awful but it's great

The brownie part was funny but so cringeworthy, lucky they didn't share a bowl of peas !

Especially the uk ones with the old team with Fred, the first dates hotel is great when they take UK dates to Italian hotel.

The Canadian and Irish one isn't half as good

Love first dates it's people watching at its finest. I personally hate bills, I go on a lot of dates it's like my hobby I never split the bill it would have to be a seriously crap date and when I go with my mates we just divide the bill by how many of us there is doesn't matter what you have had or how many drinks always divide by us all never worked out who had what

I don't mind tipping quite often round the bill up if it's been good but I hate service charge that can go fuck it self enforced tipping what a load of American shit

Yes!! They need tips because they aren't paid properly! Our minimum wage is shite but... I only tip if I think it's deserved and I know it's going to who I tipped.

We love First Dates and kudos to the team that selects the dates. They could've gone the car crash route but they seem to genuinely want the couples to click.

Oh how vile is he. Tbh I would probably have paid the lot and walked straight out not even do the after chat bit.

I would never do a meal on a first date but do appreciate a guy paying on the first date although I always offer to split or tell them I owe them the next one. I would find any guy that refuses to tip a issue

They do get a %paid too I believe something like £25 each from the production company so not a huge amount but goes towards it however if I wasn’t interested in the guy I would insist on splitting

There was an update show last week. People who met on the show and have been together since. Some married, some engaged, one couple with a child together.

LOL this is funny. I will handle it the way she did. First dates is interesting I sometimes get emotional watching it lol
