If I see a single magpie I always say "Good Morning/afternoon Mr.Magpie....

(The magpies look at me quizzically,head tilted,funny to see)

I don't have any superstitions, I'm mare than happy to break mirrors underneath ladders whilst juggling black cats and not touching any wood.

Looked through Google pages,White Rabbits generally for every month before midday.

Also RAF pilots in WW2 said it each morning on waking ,for luck

Never put new shoes on the table, walk on 3 grates and never put an umbrella up indoors

My mum was very superstitious bless her.
