Flu jab - sex drive diminished?

So 3 weeks ago my fella had a flu jab & it has given him a cold for the last 3 weeks. Bi-product of feeling unwell is absolutely no interest in sex.

To be honest he is the other side of 60 & probanly as a result of this its kinda once a week event for us (it's a wonderful few hours). 3 weeks is a long time in our relations...

Anyway I'm blaming the flu jab. Anyone else noticed this side effect? I'm horny as heck & with covid stopping fun it's quite frustrating..

The flu jab can't give you a cold.

I have the flu jab every year, i never have any side effects apart from a slightly painful arm.

It's all my certainly a coincidence and if a couple of others in your department one feeling well it's probably a bug you've past between yourselves.

It's a coincidence, you can't get a cold from a flu jab.

A passing doctor says...

Flu jab isn’t a live vaccine so can’t give you the cold/flu. He’s got a normal cold. Or COVID. But v unlikely the flu.

You can't get mad cow disease BSE from vegeburgers or the flu/cold etc from a flu vaccine because there's nothing to catch. Your immune system may get primed after it but there is no live virus

I usually have one, never caused any inconvenience to me, thinking it was something else, don't let it put you off

Thought the flu jab was eggshell based with no active viral? Probably just under the weather and not feeling it right now, happens to us all from time to time x

They ditch the eggshell

There are several different flu vaccines on the market - the inactivated whole virus ones are grown in egg, but increasingly vaccines are produced using recombinant DNA/RNA technology and this is done by inserting just the gene for certain flu antigens into a harmless virus. No eggs required for that sort.
