"Really, haven't seen it yet, yep him and Bob Holiness who was the second Bond actor (little known fact) Barry nelson was the first James bond not Sean conner, 1957 Black and white, little known fact" From what I remember, Bob Holness played Bond in a radio adaptation, not on screen.

In a number of interviews he saw nothing wrong in hitting a woman. That and the fact I didn’t know him means I have no sympathies.

Domestic Violence is wrong wether it's man against women or women against Man.. The other combinations are too numerous to mention .. I liked his acting and his movies...

Domestic violence Tom was wrong then as it is now.. Great actor, possibly like many of us a bit flawed.." He played some great roles and delivered them splendidly.. I am not sure he was a great actor.. I put actors into two categories... There are actors who play a variety of roles and characters.. Tom Hanks in this category in my opinion.. There are then actors who pretty much play themselves.. In that category I put John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Big Arnie and Sean Connery... I enjoy all off their films though .. Sean Connery is sadly missed...

"The best Bond so far ,my favourite film of his though was The man who would be king ." As mentioned further up it was definitely a classic - have it on DVD and dig it out every now and then Find it sad that the thread has been derailed by unfounded allegations about him - allegations which he denied and insisted had been taken out of context if you actually look into them - but let's not derail the thread further by picking that apart...as has been made clear there is no place for domestic violence of any kind. Regardless of that Mr Connery was a much loved actor whose many films stand testament to him and will be missed

" Picked up an original as new 261 bond aston in a box with paperwork and all the accessories for £10 in a charity shop about 5 years ago. Mine got played with, crashed, jumped etc as toys should be so it might not be worth much (priceless to me) I think the as new one might be worth £250 plus, maybe more now but it's a keeper
