Why do people on here when chatting prefer to chat on kik or Snapchat rather than just send messages on here?

I am always happy to chat on here but, it is far easier to chat on Kik or similar. Instant messaging, pictures, videos, calls etc.

It is just far more simple.

But, only use it with people I have chatted with for a while!

Some people want to scam and get people paying money to use dodgy websites.

Some people take it to other apps to try and get sex chat and pics so they can wank over them.

Some people are genuine and honest and just find it easier to keep a conversation going on different apps. The inbox on Fab can be difficult for people who get lots of messages as their reply gets lost in inbox pages that they can't see.

I prefer to use kik or WhatsApp so that I can actually verify that the people I’m chatting too are who they say they are and not a guy pretending.

Kik enables you to send a just taken pic that is marked as live so you know it’s not pinched from the web.

WhatsApp (and some others) allows you to video call so you can see who you’re actually chatting to

We get asked to use other methods a lot but its easier for us to keep everything in one place rather than jumping between different apps to have a few conversations.

More than happy chatting on here. I do have Kik, but only use it for people that mean something, rather than those I have only just started chatting too. Always raises a red flag if they want to go off site straight away.
